Requirements for publications

For Authors

All materials of congress should be edit like papers in a row below and sent to congress committee for approval. Any technical problems or disturbances could be solve in correspondence between the committee and author during a review process.

 

The original manuscript should have the following structure: Introduction, Aims, Material and methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusions which cannot be a summary of the manuscript.

 

The volume of original papers – including figures and references – must not exceed 10 800 – 12 600 characters (6-7 pages of typescript or 1800 characters per 1 page).

 

ABSTRACT AND KEYWORDS

The abstract should contain 120-200 words. Abstracts of original, both clinical and experimental, papers should have the following structure: Aims, Material and methods, Results, Conclusions. Do not use abbreviations in the title or the abstract. The abstract is pasted or rewritten by the authors into the appropriate field in the application form in the editorial panel.

When using abbreviations, it is necessary to provide the full wording at the first time they are used.

 

Keywords (2-4) should be given according to MeSH (Medical Subject Headings Index Medicus catalogs). Keywords cannot be a repetition of the title of the manuscript.

 

Article’s language is English. The editors can help in finding the right person for translation or proofreading. Or you can use the resource Cambridge proofreading and editing (https://proofreading.org/ ) rely on.

 

At the beginning of the article, the history of the issue should be briefly outlined with reference to the sources of literature and the reasoning of the expediency and purpose of the research.

 

MATERIALS AND METHODS OF THE STUDY

The section “Materials and Methods of Research” should be presented with the description of methods and reagents, the conditions for conducting experiments in that way, so it could be possible to reproduce these experiments. It is sufficient to give a reference to well-known methods. The names of companies and manufacturers of reagents and used materials must be indicated. Type and number of test animals and methods of anesthesia and euthanasia must be indicated as well.

 

Experiments that conducted on living vertebrate must comply with the principles of the European Convention for the Protection of vertebrate animals used for experimental and other scientific purposes (Strasbourg, 1986), and the Law of Ukraine “On protection of animals from cruelty”. It is obligatory to refer to the extract from the meeting of the Ethics Committee.

 

If the experiments were conducted on humans it is necessary to give the evidence that persons were informed that the research met to the established standards of the Helsinki Declaration adopted in 1964 and revised 59th WMA General Assembly, Seoul, October 2008. Authors should note that the procedures were approved by the local Ethics Committee.

 

If studies were conducted on isolated tissues of animals or people, including cell culture, it is necessary to note the details of the methods by which these tissues were obtained, including the method of euthanasia or the method of anesthesia.

 

The digital data must be rounded up according to the established rules, taking into account the average experimental error. The probability of differences in indicators has to be proved by statistical analysis, referring to specific methods. It is prohibited to give the same results in tables and figures. It is also necessary to specify the program that was used for a statistical analysis of the results, the way of presentation of the results, the confidence interval or the distribution of values.

 

All designations and names of physical and chemical units of measurement should be given in the SI system.

 

RESULTS AND THEIR DISCUSSION

The direct replication of the table data should be avoided in this section. Discussion of the results should be limited to examining only the most important established facts, taking into account the preliminary data on the issue that was being studied. Most of the discussion should be devoted to the interpretation of the results.

 

CONCLUSIONS

The last section of the article needs to generalize the main concepts.

References to sources of literature should be placed strictly in alphabetical order or ordered by citation and accordingly marked in the text of the manuscript. The numbers of quoted literature sources are given in square brackets. References to literary sources should be made in Vancouver style. There should be no more than 20 items.

Acknowledgments should be addressed to individuals who provided help but do not meet the ICMJE authorship criteria, and institutions that supported the article. It is strongly recommended to acknowledge the efforts of authors' editors and editing agencies in line with the Good Publication Practice (GPP3) guidelines (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26259067/). Grant funding and any other financial support should be also stated.

AI IN WRITING PAPER

Authors should disclose information on the use of generative AI and technology through AI in the writing process by adding a statement at the end of their manuscript in the main manuscript file before the literature list.

 

The statement should be placed in a new section entitled "The use of artificial intelligence in the writing process" (the text of the following content):

"in preparing this work, the author (s) used [TOOL/SERVICE NAME] to [CAUSE]. After using this tool/service, the author (s) have reviewed and edited the content as necessary and are solely responsible for the content of the publication. "

 

Policy on the use of artificial intelligence in the preparation of illustrations for the article

The editors do not allow the use of AI to create or modify images in submitted manuscripts.

Adjustments to brightness, contrast or color balance are acceptable unless and until they hide and eliminate any information in the original. Image analysis tools or specialized software may be applied to the submitted manuscripts to identify probable irregularities in the image.

It is not acceptable (and refers to generative things) to create using AI graphs, diagrams, tables that do not knead figures and images.

 

Acceptable formats for individual elements of the article are as follows: 

   1. Content of the article – doc, docx, rtf, odt.
   2. Tables – doc, docx, rtf, odt
   3. Figures – JPG, GIF, TIF, PNG with a resolution of at least 300 dpi
   4. Captions for figures and tables.

 

Each manuscript is subject to verification in the anti-plagiarism system.
